SUNSET POETRY - THE POETRY COMMUNITY FOR SENIORS

Sunset Poetry is a non-profit organization that strives to combat senior social isolation through literature. We provide opportunities for healthy community bonding and positive social connections for seniors by promoting the sharing of poetry. Dedicated to empowering seniors across the globe, projects involve providing platforms for poetry exchange in both the United States and China.

Sunset Poetry has successfully organized the Ojai Senior Poetry Competition, co-sponsored by AARP California, Ojai Valley Museum and Gables of Ojai. Current projects include organizing the Ventura County Senior Arts Competition in collaboration with Ventura County Executive Office, Ventura County Area Agency on Aging, Ventura County Arts and Culture, AARP California, Generations United and Ventura County Library.
